Award-winning author Deeanne Gist has captured readers everywhere with her historical and contemporary romances. In Love on the Line, Deeanne takes us deep into the heart of Texas, where it’s a battle of wills—and love is on the line!
Rural switchboard operator Georgie Gail is proud of her independence in a man’s world—which makes it twice as vexing when the telephone company sends a man to look over her shoulder. But dashing Luke Palmer is more than he appears. He’s a Texas Ranger working undercover to infiltrate a gang of train robbers.
Repairing telephones and tangling with this tempestuous woman is the last thing Luke wants to do, but when his stakeout puts Georgie in peril, he realizes more than his job is on the line.

This was a good book to read. It was alittle slow in some parts but overall a good book.
