These are difficult days in our world’s history…but you and I have been given an opportunity to make a big difference. What if we did? What if we infiltrated our world with God’s love and life? He invites us to outlive our lives, not just in heaven, but here on earth.
On Pentecost, the Spirit came down and ignited the hearts and minds of believers to preach the gospel and live out justice for the forgotten. Max Lucado wonders…Might it happen again? The answer is yes! In Outlive Your Life, Max challenges you to make a difference that will last beyond your time on earth.
With the Book of Acts as its framework, Max shows you how to live so that your time, your skills and your passions add up to a spiritual treasure to leave behind for your loved ones. You’ll be guided and inspired by the real-life stories of ordinary people who are making their lives count, filling their corner of the world with hope, God’s love and a life well-lived.
Outlive Your Life is an inspiring tribute to love that outlasts your final breath. May you live in such a way that your passing is just the beginning of your life—may each of us live the way that the world will be glad we did.

This is possibly the best Max Lucado book he has written so far. Christians everywhere need to be aware of the need to leave something that will last long after they are gone.It is clear, consise and ever so compelling. When it arrived I read it far into the night. Way to go Max!
I have always like reading books written by Max Lucado, but to me, with this book he has outdone himself. I enjoy books that will help me to better myself as a person, and to motivate me into the next level whether it is the next level of bettering myself physically, emotionally, or of my "intimate relationship with God".
"OUTLIVE YOUR LIFE" by Max Lucado does just that. This books relays the importance of leaving a legacy behind. Not the "worldly kind of legacy" such as being a contributor to a college, or receiving a "chair" in a university, or even a volunteer program with your name on it. I am talking about a legacy of love. When I am gone, I would like for people to remember me not because of what I had done, but WHO I was as a person. I want them to remember that I was a loving, caring human being, who was willing to go out of my way to help those who are in need. Whether their need was money, emotional support, or the need to learn about God and bring Him into their life.
I love the way Max Lucado writes. He brings his thoughts "home" to our door. He doesn't just quote scriptures, or write in such an eloquent language that we can't understand. He helps us to realize that with God's help, we have the potential to outlive our lives to be remembered long after we are gone, as a Children of God who really lived for God. We helped to bring His kingdom to earth until He comes again Himself.
