Celebrate the holidays in Cape Light where bestselling author and award-winning painter Thomas Kinkade teams up with writer Katherine Spencer in A Wish for Christmas.
Imagine this beautiful little New England town at Christmastime, with cozy, snow-covered cottages and lights gleaming through every window. Here’s a tale of love and hope that will capture your heart.
Jack Bradshaw, a widower, has a new family in Julie and Kate, with maybe even a new baby on the way. Now Jack’s son, David, returns home after serving in Afghanistan, and with him, a chance to heal their wounded relationship. Even before his military duties took him out of the country, David had left Cape Light…and his father. But now there’s a new family in place.
Further, David’s physical injuries may never heal and he’s burdened with psychological issues that stem from his service, plus unresolved problems he never faced at home. He’s having trouble joining in the cheer of the Christmas season and can’t help but wonder if there’s any room for him after all.
But Cape Light is always full of surprises, and it seems that Christmas always brings unexpected gifts that will never be forgotten.

I have thourthly enjoyed all the Cape Light series. I feel as though I am right there in Cape Light as I read. I really enjoy as Thomas Kincaid continues with the story line in his series and highlights one specific character or maybe two but still includes all of Cape Light. I recommend these books to everyone.

A person never knows how they would react to certain situations until you went thru what they have. Sometimes during the story, I would liked to have had the ability to reach right into the book and shook up David's stuborn, poor-me attitude. But, I have never been in his situation, so I would probably act the same way. And Lillian!! Shake, shake, shake. She has it all and doesn't see it.
Since I have been reading the Cape Light Series, I am familiar with the characters and found it an excellent read. I have and would recommend it to all.
