It's about content, not quality with this Bible. I have nothing bad to say about what you get. Especially since this is the FREE book I got for joining Crossings. Thanks guys! This is a $50 buy most any place you look. I have used this version many times in the few weeks I've had it in my possession. Great resource for study. Lots of information. I love the NKJV and with everything this one offers for a better understanding and learning... you can not go wrong. As for my comment about quality... yeah, it does have thin pages and so some people may have a difficult time reading it with the "bleed-though" and small type. The binding seems fair and it's no better or worse than any other bonded leather. Buy it!

Sorry, it is the review right below mine that is so terrible, NOT the first review at the bottom. The review below mine is one that should not be used to decide whether or not to purchase the Bible.

I received this Bible as a free gift for joining Crossings. Wow! I am amazed at how much information is in this Bible. I'm just hope no one judges this Bible by the first review, what terrible things to say about something so wonderful. I've had at least ten different Bibles, different versions, different publishers and this is the best Bible I have seen for studying the Bible. It's very thorough and I love it. Everyone should have this Bible.

This was a much awaited and anticipated free gift from Crossings. As I scanned through the text I noticed the terrible size of the letters, the almost unreadable translation notes. The word studies are black type on dark gray background very hard to read. The commentary notes fall short of those in the KJV Study Bible I have been using from Thomas Nelson. They lack any depth into the passages which are crammed together. The overall formating of the Bible leaves little to be desired. Nelson has fallen short of the mark on this project...they term it a total study system..this is miss leading. Save your money and wait for a better version. Nelson, try again.

I have a NKJV Study Bible and am going to purchase one for each of my daughters for Christmas. It is so easy to understand and I use it every day for my devotions.
