This was probably the best book I've read this year! A supernatural experience that just solidifies my faith in Christ. Our ways are NOT His ways and this is definitely one of them!! Thanks to Don Piper for sharing his story with us!!

I could not put it down!

Having lost my husband when we were very young, and 30 years later still missing him, this book gave me a glimpse of what it will be like when I go to join him. From what Don describes, it is a lot like I have always thought it would be. I can also relate to his pain and the frustration (at first) at why God sent Don back. He would have rather stayed. Also, his opportunities to help others who are suffering, whether
the suffering is from pain or from loss, have helped me to look beyond mere circumstance to search for the meaning of why things happen as they do. Thank you, Don! What a blessing
to read this book. I have given some
as gifts..including one to my pastor.

Great opening

the book starts out really great but it starts getting bogged down bout midways through. I AGREE with a previous entry...it would have been a great magazine artice. On a scale from 1-10...I give a 6.5

This book has a way of drawing you into it immediately. The first day I read 5 chapters and found it hard to put down. It's true that it would have been nice to have heard more description of what heaven was like. Just hearing the description that was given, made you want to hear more. It certainly made me long for heaven and everything it holds. I already plan on giving this book as a gift for Christmas. I'm so glad this book was written to be shared with all of us. I found it to be a great faith builder.

thought provoking

I am not one to sit down and read but once I picked up this book I could not put it down. I read 3/4 of the way through the first day. I am going to buy more copies and pass them to friends, neighbors and family. If you don't believe in God or have doubts before you read this book by the time you are through there is just no way that you can't believe.
