Best Father's Day Gift!!

I got this book for my husband for Father's Day and it's the best gift I ever got him. The recipes are easy to follow and there are color pictures showing you how to do certain steps of the recipe, not to mention gorgeous color pictures of the finished recipes. So far we've tried Memphis Dry Ribs, Kansas City Ribs, Best Ever Grilled Burgers and the Asian marinade on a London Broil. Each one was excellent!! The ribs were delicious and just fell off the bone like they were supposed to. I've never had success marinating a London Broil but this one turned out perfect. And as for the burgers, the name says it all. we've made them twice already and we'll be making them many more times. We can't wait to try another recipe. This book is absolutely GREAT!!!

Absolutely the Best!

This is absolutely the best book I've seen on grilling and BBQing. I bought it and my husband stole it from me. This book works as a "man's" book, as well. It's big and loaded with recipes for more than just the usual things you'd expect to see. And the photos! Not only are there photos for just about every single recipe, there's a series of photos showing how to make the items (great for guys who are more visual or novice cooks). It covers the usual - hamburgers, ribs, steaks, chicken and chops. But be prepared to go beyond that. There's pages for hotdogs and brats, pizza, sandwiches, desserts, vegetables, sauces, and more. There's even a separate chapter for smoked cooking. And that's not all! There's visual and print details about the various cuts of whatever meat the chapter is on. You'll learn the difference between grilling and barbecuing. And the recipes say how to cook for a charcoal and how to cook on a gas grill. If you want to know anything about grilling/BBQing, this is the book to buy! I'm glad I did. And my husband loves it, as well.

I think this is my favorite book I have ordered in a long time. The pictures are beautiful and I have marked dozens of recipes to try. The "Best Ever Burgers" lived up to their name! Instructions are simple to follow and several recipes even include a series of pictures for individual steps in the recipe, as well as a full photo for every recipe.

I picked this book up because we do a lot of outdoor grilling when the weather gets hot. The day I got it, my husband took it and has been talking non stop about it since! He keeps showing me things he's learned. On the very first night, he took it out with him to the grill while cooking some chicken.. and it turned out better than it ever had. The next night, again chicken, and we were all amazed at the difference. He used to cook chicken till it was DONE done. But now, its mouth watering juicy and delicious! It is a wonderful grilling book and I'm glad I grabbed it!
