this book saved my marriage AND my soul...

A little over a year ago I thought my life, and my marriage were over...my husband left, I had no idea where he was or how to find him...my daughter told me about the movie "Fireproof" and suggested I watch it...the movie lead me to the book...I bought both at our local Christian store...cried all the way home and begged the Lord to somehow help me to share the book and its message with my husband, whether he came home or not...a few weeks later I was assaulted and had to be taken to the ER, at the ER I met a fireman...the fireman became my friend...that friendship lead my husband to contact me (I had posted about the assault and the fireman on the internet, husband heard about it and called...asking to come home)...when he came home we watched the movie, cried together and then read the first chapter of "The Love Dare" together...we read a chapter each night before going to sleep then performed the "Dare" the next day...we read and did each dare faithfully and at the end we wrote vows to each other and said them before GOD, our Pastor, and our family...we were both baptized and through the experience our commitment to each other and to the Lord became so much stronger than we ever thought possible...Thank you and GOD Bless you Stephen Kendrick!!!

This Book is a must for all married couples. The first couple of chapters helped me to see myself and also helped me to know and understand that there is more to the word LOVE than meets the eye. You must be willing to give of yourself and to know the person you are married too.

A Must DO, not just a Must Read

My wife and I have a great marriage. I want to keep it that way and maybe even make it better. I am on day 23. I encourage anyone who is married to get this book and and do what it says. When you're done, buy another and give it away to someone whose marriage could benefit.

I was in this situation and I tried what the book says and my marraige is better than ever not only is my marraige better by my relationship with God is awsome. I believe that if both husband and wife have there heart in it and are focused on God most importantly nothing is impossible.

We have a rather good marriage after 35 years, but this book brought to mind the little things that could make it a great marriage. I think it has united us as a Christian couple, not just a legally married couple. Don't wait till you have to do something to save your marriage. Read it now to enhance it!
