DEALING WITH PEOPLE YOU CAN'T STAND, Nov 14,2003

What a dissapointment. I guess if you are a person that has no common sense than this book could possibly work for you.

I find it funny that you speak of common sense when you can't even figure out which context of THEN to use in your sentence.

I loved this book. I worked at a company for 11 years and they required feedback courses almost every year and they were very unbearable. I read this book and was instantly amused and felt much better about dealing with uncomfortable people and situations. I learned more from this book then any class/seminar I have ever taken on feedback.

I thought this book was very boring, and is mostly for those in an office type of job setting. So I would not recommend this book, unless you need something to put you to sleep fast!

One reviewer admits to not reading the book. You have to READ it and then practice the skills and it will change your life for the better. I'm a professional communicator and I learned some new ideas. Got instant results. Yes, the first few chapters are hard to get thru but if you start in section 3 and then go back to the boring part you'll love it. Once you get into it it's very entertaining even for those lucky few who don't have problem people in their lives. I've given this to lots of friends-I think it's a great book.

I have not read the book, and do NOT plan to, however keeping the book on my desk keeps those wondering who can't I stand. My boss has picked up the book, and jokingly said "You Can't Stand Me?" I smile, and say of course not! However, the truth is..I can't.
