The Little Amish Matchmaker by Linda Byler, who grew up Amish and is a member of the Amish church, is a tender Christmas story of loving, and sometimes challenging, family relationships.
Simon can’t stop thinking about the pretty Amish teacher at the local schoolhouse but he’s ignored the sparks between them because he’s so shy. So Simon’s little brother, Isaac, takes matters into his own hands and sets out to give his brother a date with the object of his affections as a Christmas present.
This charming story takes readers deep into the Amish world as anticipation for the Christmas program at the school builds and Isaac goes about carrying out his plan to help his big brother act on his growing affection for Teacher Catherine.

I thought it was well written and the story line was good. It showed how the patience of a child is sometimes greater than we give them credit for. Just entertaining reading.

The intro to this book attracted my attention as a good read. I at this time can not rate this book as I gave it as a Christmas gift.
