Great for All Families
February 25, 2013

Based on the New International Version translation, this text is easy to read for all adults and easy to understand for all ages of children. The reading plans and study plans give plenty of options for parents to guide the children through early learning paths, and to later guide them through a deeper understanding as the children enter the teen years. The short passage selections allow this Bible to be used daily, such as at family supper time, without necessarily cutting into possibly busy schedules. The open question format give parents a chance to guide their children at the developmental level of those children, and challenges the parents' own knowledge of the Bible. This is a Bible for the whole family!

Not What You Think
April 09, 2012

This isn't really a "family" bible as I had hoped it would be. It's geared more for the older kids, such as teens, and family, but surely not for little ones.
